Who processes data for Moss

Last updated: 25 October 2026

What you write and feel in Moss stays on your phone and isn't processed by anyone. The Moss app sends nothing to us or to any of the companies below. This list covers the little that reaches us another way:

Each provider acts as our processor: it may use the data only to provide its service to us.

Not processors of your Moss data: Apple's and Google's speech recognisers, on-device voices and phone backups. They're services of your phone, under your own agreement with Apple or Google. The App Store and Google Play distribute Moss under their own terms.

Never used: advertising networks, data brokers, attribution or "mobile measurement" SDKs, session replay.

We'll update this page before adding a new provider, and tell you in the app if it changes what leaves your phone.
