Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Moss is a companion for your day, made by CyberInnovate FZ-LLC, P.O. Box 10055, Al Nakheel, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. Some laws in the United States protect consumer health data. That means information that is linked, or reasonably linkable, to you and that identifies your past, present or future physical or mental health, including anything inferred from other information. This page explains how Moss treats anything that might count. It adds to our main privacy policy (https://moss.cyberinnovate.ai/privacy).
The short version
- What could count as health data stays on your phone. That covers the faces you give your days, your mood journal, your answers about how things are and what would help, what you write, and the moments when Moss offers a helpline. It is processed by the Moss app on your device, for you, and we never receive it.
- The Moss app sends nothing to us, not even the fact that you use it.
- We don't sell consumer health data, and we don't share it with anyone.
- We don't use location, so we never set up a geofence around any health care place.
1. Categories of consumer health data, and what happens to each
| Category | Examples in Moss | Where it is processed | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|---|
| How you feel | the faces you give your days and parts of days; the mood journal and its patterns | on your phone only | nobody, including us |
| Your answers about yourself | "how things are" and "what would help" in the first minutes | on your phone only | nobody |
| Your words | things, rituals, brain dump, Page lines, seeds | on your phone only | nobody |
| Support moments | the heavy-day beat, the care card, a helpline link | on your phone only | nobody. Opening a helpline goes straight to findahelpline.com in your browser |
If you write to us yourself, we receive what you choose to tell us, to answer you. We don't use it for anything else.
2. Why we collect it, and how
We don't collect it. Everything above is processed on your phone to give you the app you asked for: you type it, tap it or say it, and it stays there.
3. Sharing
- We don't sell consumer health data.
- We don't share it with anyone. There are no recipients, because nothing leaves your phone. The companies that handle messages you send us are listed at https://moss.cyberinnovate.ai/subprocessors.
- If a law or a court ever required us to disclose anything, we'd tell you unless the law forbids it.
4. Your rights
You have the right to:
- confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and get a list of anyone it went to (today the answer is no, and nobody);
- access it;
- withdraw your consent;
- delete it. In the app: You. → Your data → Delete everything, which removes everything from your phone. Email us to delete anything you sent us;
- appeal if we refuse a request.
How to ask: email privacy@cyberinnovate.ai with the subject "Consumer health data". We reply within 45 days. We may extend that once, by 45 more days, when it's needed, and we'll tell you why.
Appeals: reply to our answer with "Appeal" in the subject. We'll answer within 45 days. If you're still unhappy you can contact your Attorney General:
- Washington: atg.wa.gov/file-complaint
- Nevada: ag.nv.gov
- Connecticut: portal.ct.gov/ag
5. Changes
If we ever want to collect or share consumer health data, we'll update this page and ask for your consent first. The date at the top is the current version.
